Diwali Safari is a board game that serves as an ode to Indian wildlife and biodiversity. It features Gond tribal art, a unique style of painting that sees every animal, plant, and tree as sacred. 

 

The game was sent out as a Diwali gift. It is meant to bring families and friends together during festivities. It is designed using principles of positive psychology to reinforce feelings of gratitude and joy. Players, as teams of two, choose to be the elephant or the peacock and guide the animal, away from the city, the noise of the fireworks and into the safety of the jungle. They roll a dice and choose a task from the customized pile of Indian festive themed game cards. Upon successful completion of the tasks, players move forward. 

 

The game promotes the concept of an eco-friendly Diwali with fireworks made

of vegan chocolate and a delightful postcard that features the endemic birds of Kerala. 

 

All proceeds from the sale of the game go to Educate to Empower, a school for underprivileged girls.
